The Event Sales Manager is responsible for selling and servicing events. Primary sales efforts are in Banquet Food and Beverage and includes menu planning, agenda setting and hotel meeting services. Duties also include business development, contract review and facilitating communication before, during and post event with pertinent hotel staff to ensure a high level of service.
The Event Sales Manager also host hotel tours, maintain strong customer relationships, participate and may lead event meetings and other staff meetings, and work as a team member with the sales and events staff. The manager also works closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff.

Thompson Seattle colleagues begin accruing Vacation Time on their first day of service. At six months of service, colleagues are vested in the time they have been accruing. Full Time & Part Time Colleagues are eligible for vacation time.

Salaried managers: The starting salary for this position is $68,000.00 which is applicable for the first year of employment. The entire range for the position is $56,800.00 to $79,400.00. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, including experience, qualifications and education.
